In order to further promote the effective leadership of Party building, strengthen the communication and cooperation of Party building work between schools, enhance the quality of Party building education, and create new platforms for Party building propaganda, a delegation led by the Chair of the College of Public Economics and Management Council Qin Wenjia and Vice Chair of Council Zhou Qiao visited the College of Business of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Wei Hang, Chair of COB Council, Wang Ti, Vice Chair of COB Council, and the representatives from student affairs, party affairs, and administrative teams from both schools attended the exchange meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, Wei Hang, Chair  Council of COB, extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the College of Public Economics and Management and provided a comprehensive overview of the distinctive features of the College of Business from three aspects: Party building leadership, talent cultivation, and cultural value shaping. He talked about the significant value and importance of promoting exemplary role models among faculty and students in education and shared insights and experiences gained from optimizing the construction of grassroots party organization and improving guarantee mechanisms.

Following this, Wang Ti, Vice Chair of COB Council, elaborated on the history of the foundation of the College of Business, its administrative system architecture, scientific research, faculty team, and talent cultivation. In its development over the past century, the College of Business has upheld the principles of cultivating virtue and educating people, carrying out the mission of cultivating business talents, innovating business studies, empowering business practices, and disseminating business civilization. It has established a scientific and standardized governance structure for decision-making, administration, and democratic management, and also adhering to a lofty academic research philosophy. Through the joint efforts of faculty and students, the College of Business has achieved outstanding results in the construction of three first-level disciplines: "Business Administration," "Applied Economics," and "Theoretical Economics," and has been accredited by the China Alliance of Management Education Accreditation (CAMEA) as well as international accreditations such as AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA.

Subsequently, Xia Qingdong, the organizer from the College of Business, and Shen Mengxue, the Director of the Project Development Center, respectively provided systematic introductions to the Party building work and propaganda work. The two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges and heated discussion on topics such as integrated Party building, collaborative Party building, student value guidance, propaganda platform construction, and team capability enhancement.

Finally, Qin Wenjia,Council Chair of the College of Public Economics and Management expressed heartfelt gratitude for the warm reception, thoughtful arrangements, and in-depth sharing provided by the College of Business. She concluded that the visit and exchange had sparked the motivation for proactive learning, added vitality to the work, and enhanced the synergy of collaborative. Through the "Chairs hand in hand" approach, the professional exchange and emotional connection between the two colleges in terms of Party building, student affairs, and propaganda work had been effectively strengthened, effectively promoting the quality and efficiency of related areas of work.
