On March 26th, a delegation from the Antai College of Economics and Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University visited our university. The delegation was comprised of Associate Dean Cai Fengyan, Director Wu Shiming, Deputy Director Bai Jinlan from the Office of Discipline Construction and Research, Director Liang Feng, Deputy Director Gu Beilei from the Think Tank Center, as well as the discipline construction team and project management team. They were received by COB Associate Dean Gao Weihua and Vice Dean Feng Ling from the School of Finance, and Professor Ma Wenjie from the School of Finance, who also serves as the Director of the Shanghai International Financial Center Research Institute. They also engaged in discussions and exchanges with the visiting guests.
At the meeting, both sides delivered speeches and introduced the attendees. COB Associate Dean Gao Weihua and Vice Dean Feng Ling from the School of Finance at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics respectively presented the administrative structure, talent cultivation, scientific research, faculty composition, and internationalization efforts of their respective schools. They also focused on sharing their experiences and practices in discipline construction, think tank construction, and research project management.
Vice Dean Cai Fengyan from the Antai College of Economics and Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University briefly outlined the development overview, discipline construction, and talent cultivation of the Antai College.
Subsequently, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on discipline construction, project management, think tank development, student cultivation, and talent incentive systems. Professor Ma Wenjie, from the School of Finance at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and also the Director of the Shanghai International Financial Center Research Institute, highlighted the think tank development and related brand activities. Wu Shiming, the Director of Discipline Construction and Research Office at the Antai College of Economics and Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, shared practices regarding research incentives and student cultivation.
Through mutual exchange and collaborative discussions, both universities furthered their understanding and recognition of each other, promoted the exchange of advanced work experience, and injected new impetus into improving the quality of education and promoting high-quality development for both parties.
